Op hemelvaartsdag is er traditioneel dauwtrappen in Kortenhoef, Wijdemeren. Voor zonsopkomst gaan honderden een route door het oude dorp en de natuurgebieden lopen en deels varen.
On Ascension Day hundreds make traditionaly a "dew walk" through the neighbourhood of Kortenhoef in the Netherlands starting before sunrise. The walk includes some short boattrips too.
